Program Features

The GCTS is a supplementary program for students who have graduated from the MAT or MDiv program. It aims to give them the opportunity to study additional subjects that were not previously available to them, or to fulfill the admission requirements of other programs such as the ThM.

The program consists of 18 credit hours taken from the MAT curriculum. The program duration is 1-2 years (max. 3 years). Instruction is in Arabic. The program is offered on campus or online (like the MAT program).

The actual tuition fee is EGP 2400/credit in 2026–2027. A scholarship application for up to 85% is available. The scholarship application is included with the application and is awarded based on the applicant’s needs and circumstances. The application deadline is June 30th.

Studies begin on September 28, 2026.

Program Admission Requirements

The seminary selects the most qualified applicants for the program according to its admission policies. Applicants are expected to:

  • Be Christian, with a clear vision for service in the church or community.
  • Have a good reputation and demonstrate strong moral character within their church and community.
  • Hold a Master of Arts in Theology or a Master of Divinity.
  • Possess sufficient time, academic readiness, and financial resources to complete the program.
  • Have basic proficiency in English.
  • Have a good command of Arabic.
  • Have foundational theological and biblical knowledge.
  • Possess general cultural awareness.
  • Demonstrate emotional maturity and psychological stability.
  • Complete all required online application forms, including personal statements and scholarship application.
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee of EGP 200 (applications without proof of payment will not be considered).
  • Pay tuition fees upon course registration before the start of the semester.
  • Successfully pass the seminary’s admissions committee evaluation.

Application and Enrollment Steps

  1. Complete the online application form and upload all required documents and certificates.
  2. Upon acceptance, students may be granted partial or full scholarships based on eligibility and institutional policies. Scholarship renewal is contingent upon annual academic and behavioral evaluation.
  3. The application fee of EGP 200 is non-refundable if the applicant is not admitted. Applications without proof of payment will not be reviewed.
  4. Applications must be submitted online only. This video explains how to apply.
  5. Email is the primary mode of communication; applicants are responsible for regularly checking their inbox and spam folder. Failure to follow instructions or deadlines remains the applicant’s responsibility.
