ETSC is a unique place in the Middle East. It is a place shaped by the Reformed tradition and the Egyptian context. It is ecumenically open to dialogue with other Christian traditions. We enthusiastically explore important questions and answers between faith and reason, between faith and culture, and between theory and praxis. We are a campus that welcomes diversity, hospitality, and equity in witness to the kingdom of God as revealed in Christ Jesus.
From scholars to ministers to lay leaders, we have produced some of the most influential church and seminary leaders in Egypt, the Middle East, and Arabic-speaking communities around the world since the school’s inception in 1863.
To prospective students: The professors you will learn from and be mentored by will push the bounds of your convictions and skills, calling you into a deeper relationship not only with God’s Word, but also God’s world. If you are looking for a place where community is cherished and cultivated, and where the knowledge of God and service to the world are seen as two sides of the same coin, then this is your community.
Welcome to ETSC.
