Structure of the Master of Theology (Th.M.) Program
The following are the typical structures of the one-year full-time and two-year part-time variants of the Master of Theology (Th.M.) program. Students take four specialization courses in either Biblical Studies or Christianity in the Middle East or Systematic Theology (see course descriptions). Please note that changes in the order of courses may sometimes occur.
One-Year Full-Time Program
Fall Semester (5 courses, 14 credits)
Core courses:
1. Research Principles and Methods A (2 credits)
2. Ancient Middle Eastern Source Texts: Context and Reception of Genesis 1–11 (3 credits)
3. Constructive Theology in Middle Eastern Context (3 credits)
Specialization courses:
4. Biblical Studies or Christianity in the Middle Eastor Systematic Theology specialization course A (3 credits)
5. Biblical Studies or Christianity in the Middle Eastor Systematic Theology specialization course B (3 credits)
January Term (2 courses, 4 credits)
Core course:
6. Research Principles and Methods B (2 credits)

Spring Semester (3 courses, 9 credits + first half of thesis)
